Pressure testing

Traditionally, pressure tests are always conducted with liquids such as water. However, in some situations, pressure testing with gas can be a better choice. At Cryotainer, we therefore offer pneumatic pressure testing with gases, which has the following advantages:

  • Prevention of moisture: gases prevent moisture from remaining in the system.
  • Resistance to cold: gases freeze less quickly than liquids.
  • Immediate purging: if purging is required after the pressure test, the required gas is already present in a nitrogen pressure test. Also, the O2 content is already reduced, making purging faster.

Preparation and safety in pressure testing

Each pressure test is carefully prepared by us, going through all the necessary steps to ensure flawless execution. Furthermore, we adhere to the strictest safety regulations during the test to ensure maximum safety and reliability.

Results of the pressure test

After completing the pneumatic pressure test, you will receive a set of documents that record the results and processes, including:

  • A written statement of readiness
  • Checklists
  • Graphs of pressure and temperature
  • Daily report
